“Live 101 concerts are a great place to enjoy, in their words, “neat, unadulterated music.” It provides a platform for people to relax, interact, and learn from others, and is a site of many opportunities for those interested in original music”. Its events are brands by themselves — Live 101, June Rock Out, Summer Of Love, Underground, Unplugged, Metal Fest and Jazz Festival. Every six months, 350 students graduate from its Unwind School of Music, present in three centres around Chennai and one in Bangalore.” The Hindu, March 14, 2009 Live 101 is a place where we host professional and amateur bands/ artists to perform. We have had over 600 bands play at our venue.

Feb/March: Jazz Revival festival featuring international jazz bands. (Since 2005)
April/May: Summer Of love Vocal and Performance course. a 15 day vocal training camp for over 100 students that ends with a concert (2008)
June/July: JRO - India’s Mega Music Festival (Since 1999)
September: UNDERGROUND: A band competition Hosted for semiprofessionals of all age groups to win the title ‘Last BandStanding’ (Since 2001)
December: Unplugged: Acoustic & Acapella Festival: celebrating the yuletide season solely for acoustic music or artist tribute concerts in indoor venues (since 2007)
MADRAS JAZZ HUB :
Featuring jazz Musician who take time to give some of their best to this city by performing at our center once in 2 months and this escalates to MADRAS JAZZ FESTIVAL our annual festival happens once a year as an outdoor festival.
Light Music Night :
Featuring the best of artists and bands performing Indian film music. This new series will be hosted once a month.
Open Mic :
welcomes every music enthusiast, poets, story tellers, beat boxer and Stand-up comedians to come forward showcase their passion and talent. This series is hosted once a month.
KM Student Body Night :
Unwind Center in Association with KM College of Music and Technology invites the students of KM to conduct, program, market and host one concert by themselves at unwind center under the guidance of Unwind & KM professionals and experts.
Raw Power :
A series which has been running for over a decade only for the metal heads which features band who plays genres such as Hard Rock, Heavy Metal and Extreme Metal. This series takes place once in three months at Unwind Center.
